Promising review: “It was time to replace my old cutting boards after more years than I'd like to admit. I wanted to get wood as they're easy on a knife's edge. I came upon these. Made from bamboo, and why not be sustainable when it's easy to do so. Used cutting board oil as directed. After three months of use, I can see these are really great cutting boards. They look good, they're lightweight, yet don't slide around the counter, which can be dangerous. I really look forward to using them, and if you treat them right (occasional oiling) they clean up very easy. I have put raw chicken on them and have lived to tell the story. And my knives have remained sharp for longer than before. Very happy with this purchase. If you're in the market for cutting boards, or any of the other products that Royal Craft Wood makes, buy them, you won't regret it.” —Mike8307

Promising review: “Most-used tool in my kitchen! This olive oil dispenser has completely transformed my cooking experience. Not only is it a convenient way to store and dispense olive oil, but it also makes me feel like a pro every time I use it. The sleek design and easy-to-use functionality gives it a professional-grade feel, and I find myself channeling my inner Gordon Ramsay as I add the perfect amount of oil to my dishes.

Moreover, the dispenser's precision spout allows for accurate pouring and minimal mess, making it a must-have for any home cook. It has become a staple in my kitchen, and I cannot imagine cooking without it. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook and wants to take their kitchen game to the next level.” —IamNazarene

Promising review: “I love garlic! However, I hate cleaning our old stainless-steel, crushing-type garlic press. It's a literal nightmare to deal with that thing. On a complete whim, I decided to give Gracula a shot, thinking it was a cute novelty, but novelty stuff is always the lowest quality version of that thing, so the purchase was entirely for the joke of it.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER MADE!!! This little buddy handles about 3–5 cloves at a time (depending on size) and is the easiest garlic-processing-item to clean IN THE HISTORY OF EVER!! You may need to shake a little hard to get some of the minced garlic out, and if it gets into the little hole in the center, you'll have to grab a chopstick or a fork with the right size tine to get in there, but other than that, it takes literal seconds to clean!

I will be buying this for everyone I know and possibly preventing divorce with this little kitchen friend.” —Grace

Promising review: “Love, love, love these! Lightweight, colors are brilliant, each knife has its own case (awesome), the tips are really sharp, and they're easy to handle. You can't lose them, or their cases, because the bright colors make them easy to spot if you put them in the wrong drawer, or you’re at a potluck and someone tries to make off with it. These would make a great gift.” —DDancho

Promising review: “Life-changing!! I hate cooking so much. Chopping is a pain and takes too long. My eyes water when cutting onions. This product has made my life so much easier. I don’t dread cooking. It takes mere moments and zero tears to chop an entire onion. A pile of potatoes? Chopped in minutes. Meal prep time is considerably shorter! So easy to clean too – just give a good rinse, use the tools to take anything off that’s stuck, and pop those babies into the dishwasher to use tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day.” —Kayla

This is the set I use. They’re great — solid; easy to clean; basically, everything you could want from your everyday cooking utensils. My most-used items are the flippers, the solid spoon, the whisk, the tongs, and the spoonula — but I’ve had cause to use literally every piece in the set, so I have never, ever regretted having them all. (Just, y'know, in case this many pieces seems like overkill. It's not. I promise.)

For the curious, the full set includes a solid spoon, a slotted spoon, a solid turner, a slotted turner, a pasta spider, a ladle, a basting brush, a spatula, a spoonula, a whisk, a set of tongs, measuring spoons, measuring cups, a silicone spoon rest, and a holder to corral it all — and a bunch of S-hooks, if you’d rather hang your utensils than keep them in the storage jar.

Promising review: “Let’s just say BUY THESE. For the longest time I’ve been living with mismatched kitchen utensils and I’d had enough. I honestly picked these because they’re so pretty, I didn’t even read the reviews. To say they exceed my expectations is an understatement. The items came individually wrapped, and securely packed. The silicone tools are firm, not flimsy at all. 10/10, will buy again!” —kari

Promising review: “My old knife block just was not longer ‘cutting’ it, as I have collected so many quality knives over the years and the slots just did not line up with what I now own. Enter this handy dandy genius of a knife block. It looks very sleek and nice, is easy to use, is super sturdy, and works on everything from a paring knife to a cleaver. It even has a place for your steel. There is plenty of space for probably up to a dozen knives of varying sizes. It keeps them and you safe as the sturdy interior sleeves hold the knives well and keep them well separated from each other. So happy I found this product.” —Happycat52

Promising review: “Great pot! I've been using this pot (3-quart size) for about three weeks now and couldn't be happier with it. A problem I had been having with my current, lesser-quality pots is that they wouldn't lie flat on my glass-top electric stove and would heat unevenly and even rock back and forth as they heated.

This pot is SUCH a difference! First of all, it's much heavier than my other pots, but not at all unwieldy. The bottom has stayed perfectly flat and conducts heat into the interior quickly and efficiently. I can boil water twice as fast in this pot than my other ones. Besides boiling water, I've also used this pot for browning meat, and food doesn't stick (although there is NO Teflon or other nonstick coating).

The handle is riveted on and stays cool. The lid, however, gets hot and requires a pot holder for handling. All in all, I love this pot and want to save up to get other sizes!” —S. Wilson

Get it from Amazon for $34.95.

I’ve had this exact Krups grinder in my kitchen for close to a decade now; speaking of grinding coffee, that’s what I primarily use it for. But it’s game for pretty much anything you might need to grind down, accomplishing its task quickly and easily, whether that’s dark roast or fancy peppercorns!

Promising review: “This is the real deal for spice grinding! It's ideal for grinding spices to a fine powder for any quantity above two teaspoons or so. For smaller quantities you might want to go manual with a mortar and pestle.

It's odd that the manual doesn't say more about spices. Everyone knows it's the go-to device for them, it's recommended by pretty much all the reviewers who have tested it and you can't go five minutes on a foody message board without someone singing its praises. Happily, you don't need a manual because the rocket surgery involved in grinding the stuff is pretty minimal. I use it almost daily for recipes in the kitchen and even for making large batches.

One warning: If you have this device, you'll probably never be happy with a commercial spice mixture again. I make my own chili powder, curry powder, cajun spices, grind my own cumin, make my own meat rubs, and even have batches of spice mixtures I use less frequently like berbere. Seriously. Go taste your chili powder right now. Is it old and skanky? If it's fresh, do you find yourself wishing it were hotter/milder/more complex/sweeter/smokier/whatever? If you said yes, you need this product.” —Greg M.

Get it from Amazon for $21.58.

While the batter is whipping, you can start on some of the cleanup. The splatter/pour guard that comes with the mixer is also a tremendous help to control the flour spilling out. Would not trade it for anything in the world. I plan on using this each time I bake.” —Jacqueline

As simple as packing in a stick of softened butter into the top of the crock and then filling with cold water to the line on the bottom of the crock. Keeps my butter spreadable and fresh on the counter for days. I replace with fresh cold water daily to maximize freshness. Recommend for when spreading butter on fresh bread, corn on the cob, and steamed vegetables. Great hostess gift, thank you gift, or housewarming gift.” —M. Murphy

Bought my daughter a set as well, and she likes the trivets so much that she hung them on her kitchen wall. Very happy with this product!” —driveshusbandnuts

Reviewers say he’s also great for holding things other than cooking tools, too, by the way — pens, for instance, and scissors, and all sorts of office supplies.

Promising review: “Cuteness overload! Frankly I just like to look at him, but he valiantly holds my wooden spoon up high over the pot. I also put him on the edge of the pot to allow steam to escape. Quality is good, so he would make a nice inexpensive gift for the cook.” —marcia grau
