LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set July 27 for Khalide Moore, 24, Gardendale Street, East Liverpool, charged with two counts of possession of drugs, a first-degree felony. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Moore was charged after the Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence and found a large bag of suspected narcotic tablets and a large bag of suspected narcotics in a cabinet in the kitchen on July 18. Lab tests confirmed the 994 tablets contained fentanyl and the other substance was 583.04 grams of cocaine.

A preliminary hearing was set Aug. 3 for Joseph Brian Vincent, 41, Mansfield, charged with third-degree felony compelling prostitution, fourth-degree felony attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and fifth-degree felonies of importuning and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old female in exchange for $140 and arriving in Salem for the meeting July 24.

Jared Preston Timko, 43, Youngstown, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for arranging for sexual conduct with a female listed on an undercover ad on a known prostitution website in exchange for $60 and driving to East Palestine on July 3 for the meeting. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour education course.

A sentencing hearing was set Aug. 15 for Chris Weckerly, 44, Beaver Falls, Pa., who pleaded guilty to assault. He was ordered to have no contact with the juvenile victim. Chris Weckerly was accused of punching a juvenile in the head and face after entering the playground area at East Palestine Park on July 4.

A sentencing hearing was set Aug 15 for Alexyia Marie Weckerly, 23, Beaver Falls, Pa., who pleaded guilty to assault. She was ordered to have no contact with the juvenile victim. A domestic violence charge against Michael Arnold, 34, Northside Avenue, East Liverpool, was dismissed at the request of the prosecution due to a lack of cooperation from the witness in the case. Arnold was ordered released from jail. He had been accused of biting a woman in the face and choking her on July 21 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Aug. 3 for Ryan Farmer, 35, Aliquippa, Pa., charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly shoving a woman into a wall while she was holding a child on July 28, 2021 in East Liverpool and attempting to cause her harm during a domestic on April 24 2022 in East Liverpool.

A domestic violence charge against Ronald Tice III, 37, Clarks Mill Road, Hammondsville, was dismissed without prejudice, with a note saying the victim was unable to be contacted. Tice had been accused of causing physical harm to a woman during an incident Feb. 18 in Hammondsville.

A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Travis Beiling, 39, Cherry Fork Avenue, Leetonia, charged with violation of a protection order, failure to stop after an accident and assured clear distance. Beiling allegedly violated a protection order against him by driving on Cherry Fork Road within 267 feet of a woman’s residence on July 24 in Leetonia.

Michael Patrisian, 49, Midland, Pa., was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for theft. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Patrisian failed to scan and pay for 13 items totaling $59 at the Calcutta Walmart on May 6.

Tracy Daniels, 46, Moore Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, with credit for one day served, leaving nine days to serve in jail, for criminal trespass. Daniels trespassed in a garage on West Ninth Street, East Liverpool on July 24.

Rick Styen, 41, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 178 days suspended, leaving two days to serve in jail for telecommunications harassment. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Styen sent unwanted text messages to a woman on Nov. 7, 2022 in East Liverpool and had called her and sent messages on Sept. 17, 2022.

Steven Schobel, 56, Austintown, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served, for disorderly conduct. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service. Schobel was charged after being drunk and using bad language in the Main Street Theater in Columbiana on Feb.18.

A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Douglas Freed, 43, Hadley Road, East Palestine, charged with failure to display valid sticker, menacing and marijuana paraphernalia. Freed allegedly yelled at a woman and threatened to beat her on July 10 in Lisbon.

A pretrial was set Oct. 30 for Rani Wafler, 44, Minerva, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, reasonable control, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a metal pipe with burnt residue, a glass smoking pipe with residue and less than 100 grams of marijuana on July 21.

Ronald Snyder III, 48, North Lima, was fined $535 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 157 days suspended, with credit for 18 days electronically-monitored house arrest, leaving five days to serve in jail, for OVI second offense and improper backing. His driver’s license was suspended for two years. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set Oct. 24 for Aaron Thompson, 33, Day Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense and OVI breath first offense.

A pretrial was set Oct. 10 for Calvin Shepard, 27, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with OVI first offense and reckless operation.

A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Jordan Swain, 36, Mattix Road, Lisbon, charged with driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a small clear container with suspected narcotics residue inside on July 25 in Lisbon.

A pretrial was set Sept. 14 for Carl Poynter, 37, Chestnut Grove Road, Salem, charged with a railroad crossing violation.

Brittany Mitchell, 28, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $150 for an equipment violation, amended from speeding.

A pretrial was set Oct. 30 for Alex Croxall, 20, Canterbury Lane, Salem, charged with underage consumption.

Searrah Powell, 21, Densmore Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Darian Call, 25, Newell, W.Va., was fined $150 for left of center and permit operator to drive without license.
